I’m having the ITA Wealth Management web site upgraded and I would appreciate suggestions from readers. What do you like and what changes would you make? Concentrate on the look and feel of the blog, not the content. Content can wait for another discussion. This is your chance to provide input to improve the look of ITA.
One change that is coming is to make better use of the real estate on the screen. The new blog will be wider. I will continue to make the fonts of such a size that it is easy to read. I am disgusted with so many bland websites where the font size is about 3 or 4 points. They make it nearly impossible to read. I constantly need to toggle Command = on my Mac to increase the font size.
The Home Page will likely not be as “busy.” If possible I want to make it obvious how to navigate the blog so investors can capture the information as easily as possible. Question: Do you like the idea that the Categories fall into different levels such as Level 100 (beginners), Level 200 (sophomores), etc.?
What would you keep? Do you use any of the three footers at the bottom of the page?
Is the Search option sufficiently visible?
Do you mind the pull-down menu for Categories? These are some questions I would like answered. Have a go and put your ideas in the Comments section.
I just noticed the Comments are not registering. I’m not sure what is causing this problem.
