Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings

Photograph:  Old Waterwheel at Waterford, Virginia

In the Fall of 1960, Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings was the theme song for a classical music station in San Diego, California.  The music left a positive and lasting impression and it is my CD recommendation for the week.  The underlying theme from the Serenade is among of the most beautiful music ever written.  This link will take you to the recording I have in my collection.  Souvenir de Florence is an added bonus.

While there are only a few recommendations on Amazon, you will not go wrong adding this CD to your collection.
